Appointment Policy

Doctor visits are scheduled by appointment. Each day, we reserve appointment times for pets who may need to be seen promptly due to illness. For your convenience, we also offer drop-off appointments if your schedule does not align with our available appointment times.

We encourage you to call our hospital to schedule an examination as this helps us provide timely care while minimizing wait times.

Due to increased demand for veterinary services and longer wait times nationwide, scheduling timely appointments has become more challenging.

We have also seen an increase in missed appointments despite reminders by phone, text, and email.

To help keep appointments available and reduce wait times for all patients, Crosspointe Animal Hospital requires a deposit to secure new patient appointments. This deposit is applied to your first visit and is only non-refundable if the scheduled appointment is missed.

No-Show Policy

A no-show is when a client misses an appointment without canceling it. Failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the patient’s chart as a no-show.

A $50 fee will be applied to the account as a result of a no-show.

Surgery No-Show Policy

A surgery no-show is when a client misses a scheduled surgery appointment without providing at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation.

The first time this occurs, we will call to offer rescheduling and the missed surgery fee of $100 will be waived. After a second missed surgical appointment, we will again call to reschedule, and a $100 missed appointment fee will be charged.

Cancellation of an Appointment

To help us best meet the medical needs of all our patients, we kindly ask that you notify our office as soon as possible if you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer that appointment time to another patient in need of care.

Because appointment availability is limited, advance notice helps us provide timely veterinary services to as many patients as possible.
